Description :

One of our projects involves the construction of mathematical models of neural networks with elements mimicking as closely as possible the properties of the actual neurons in order to construct reasonable models for the brain activity.
Another interesting problem is the understanding of the origin of dynamical processes which lead to the synchronized activity in neural networks.
