As part of the Belgian Presidency, BELSPO organised, in collaboration with ESA, a unique experience for the 'Space' working group of the Council of the EU.
The trip began with a visit to the major space infrastructures in Liège: SAFRAN Aero Boosters, AMOS, SpaceBel and the Centre Spatial de Liège (CSL). The attachés then travelled to Cologne to discover the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) and meet Polish ESA astronaut Sławosz Uznański.
They also had the opportunity to taste Liège boulets and artisanal waffles, and take part in a group activity to produce their own batch of beer on the theme of space and its marketing.
