What do we do?
The Visitors Observatory carries out research into the relationship between the 10 FSIs and their audience.
- Museum Monitor:
Since 2007, the Observatory has been responsible for the annual monitoring of the visitor (profiles) for the major museums and visitors’ centres maintained by the FSIs:
- The Museum of Natural Sciences
- The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium (Museums of Ancient and Modern Art)
- The Cinquantenaire Museum
- The Royal Museum for Central Africa
- The Musical Instrument Museum
- The Magritte Museum (monitoring since 2011)
- The Planetarium
- Ad hoc audience and user research (often for exhibitions, smaller museums or FSIs that do not take part in the Museum monitor)
