The Royal Observatory of Belgium, the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy and the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium are all located on the so called plateau of Uccle. In 2013 these 3 institutions opened their doors for the public to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium.
The idea for this research was both to look at who visited the plateau of Uccle during this open house days (look for the visitor’s profiles) as well to sound how these visitors appreciated their visit and the different aspects of the visit. The results are also compared with the results of the surveys conducted in 2005,2007 and 2009.
