Research
To increase the width of the BCCM consortium, finaned by the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office (BELSPO), additional collections of interesting organisms were proposed. During the project, the coordinator (BCCM/LMG will share with the partners its expertise to bring the collections from the level of laboratory ressources to publicly available culture collections. The participation of CIP will concern the development of a collection of about 200 cyanobacterial strains, from diverse biotopes in the Arctic and Antarctic.
