- 2001, Mission in the Dry Valleys, Antarctica, from 4th January to 3d February,
in collaboration with the University of Otago (NZ) and Antarctica New Zealand:
tunnel investigations at the base of cold glaciers and sampling of lake ice
in Wright Valley.
- August 1998, Field assistant during two weeks
in the Swiss Alps with glaciologists from the Universities of
Aberystwyth, Cambridge and Glasgow.
