Description:
On the occasion of fifty years of the International Association of Free Trade Unions and a century of the international trade union movement, the IALHI (International Association of Labour History Institutions) carried out an international historical research project which resulted in a general historiography of the international free trade union movement.
The results of the research have been published in a book and presented at a colloquium ("The Past and Future of International Trade Unionism", Ghent 18-20.V.2000).
