| Description en | Resource scarcity is increasingly affecting industrial operators depending on a variety of mineral resources by jeopardizing their business model and in turn their long-term viability. Additional pressure comes in the form of ever increasing compliance, and particularly at the socio-environmental level.The objective of Mine the Gap is to first propose an integrated solution to mitigate the raw material supply risk faced by European Industrial Companies (#EIC#) in providing access to mineral deposits at various stages of development. This is to be realized by #bridging the gap# between such EIC and foreign emerging mining operators (#FEMO#). This first objective is essentially technical and consists in the identification of new, alternative sources of raw materials.
