| Description fr | OREVAL est un réseau regroupant les techniques les plus avancées et les meilleurs experts européens dans le domaine de la caractérisation des matières premières. Le réseau vise à promouvoir la géométallurgie comme un nouvel outil dexploitation minière durable. Létude précoce de la minéralogie de tous les gisements de minerai est fondamentale pour modéliser les ressources et atténuer les risques financiers. Le réseau regroupe des partenaires spécialisés dans la minéralogie automatisée, lablation laser ICP-MS LA-ICPM, lanalyse par micro-sondes électroniques (EPMA ou EMPA), la tomographie par rayons X, lanalyse dimages, la numérisation de carottages et la modélisation de procédés. Il inclut également des technologies émergentes telles que PIXE et facilite le lancement de nouveaux projets pour faire face aux défis industriels à venir. | Description en | OREVAL is a network gathering the most advanced techniques and the best european experts in the field of raw material characterisation. The network aims the promotion of geometallurgy as a new tool for sustainable mining exploitation. Early study of the mineralogy of any ore deposits is fundamental to model the ressources and mitigate finacial risks. The network gather partners with expertisein automated mineralogy, laser ablation ICP-MS LA-ICPM, electron micro probe analysis (EPMA or EMPA), X-Ray tomography, image analysis , core scanning and process modelling.
