| Description nl | In dit Methusalem-project zullen we een grootschalige multidisciplinaire onderzoeksinspanning opzetten om concepten en technologieën te ontwikkelen voor slimme fotonische chips. De onderliggende grondgedachte is dat deze chips zullen ingezet kunnen worden in een brede waaier een systemen met een kritisch maatschappelijk belang (transport, energie, industrie, U+2026) en ook voor de vroege diagnose van ziektes door middel van goedkope "point-of-care" systemen. De chips kunnen alleenstaande chips zijn dan wel onderdeel van een uitgebreid verdeeld netwerk.
