The project consists in determining the socio-economic variables of internal migration and of transitions in household composition. Another aim of this project is a preliminary study on new forms of demographic and household projections on a sub-regional level.

Implementation:

1. Linking the database on internal migration to information on individuals and households from the national census;
2. Mapping the country according to specific migration profiles;
3. Statistical analysis of internal migrations focusing on inter- cities, suburbs/cities and rural flows.
This work means the creation of basic material for studying sub-regional household demographic projections using multi-state demographic methods.
