Description :

Epidemiological studies have shown a causal relationship between exposure to ionizing radiation and risk for carcinogenesis. This project consists of the evaluation of the value of the micronucleus technique for peripheral blood lymphocytes as biological indicator of radiation damage based on a comparison with the chromosome aberration technique.
