The objective is to demonstrate usefullness and validity of in vitro systems using isolated hepatocytes and liver slices surviving in suspension culture, in identifying and in studying the mechanism of the effects (hypo-triglyceridemie) induced in vivo by feeding animals with fructooligasaccharides containing diet.
