Research project MO/40/002 (Research action MO)
The purpose of this project is the development and implementation of a practical usable and multilingual database (Dutch/French/English) for the museum collections: either to optimise external management (e.g. by offering a fast and suitable answer to the needs of Internet users seeking information on the collections; or by enabling electronic management of large external exhibitions with our partners); or to facilitate internal management of the respective artwork (e.g. managing the reserves). The sculpture subset from the nineteenth century was originally chosen for the development of a database prototype as the collection was clearly described and completely catalogued.
