OBJECTIVES.

Development of computer based systems for the calculation of two and three-dimensional electromagnetic fields. Integration of these field calculations in Computer Aided Design environments.

Two and three-dimensional electrostatic problems and magnetostatic problems. Induced currents in two and three-dimensional structures. Motion modelling in two dimensional structures. Thin magnetic plates and non-linear material characteristics. Hysteresis. Coupling with thermal phenomena.
