The key points of attention in this study is a historical sociological analysis of the immigrant presence in several Brussels municipalities, the local decision-making process with regard to immigrant policy and a number of related sectors, political attitudes and activities of the immigrant communities themselves, the implementation of municipal immigrant policy and the effectiveness of certain policy types.
