Description :

The preliminary stage of the study is devoted to ascertaining what technological aids and initiatives already exist in this field (at both national and European level).

The second stage takes stock, on the basis of written surveys and in-depth interviews, of the aids used for people with a physical handicap, more especially adult physically handicapped people living in institutions/focus projects and children with a physical handicap in special and integrated education. It is also investigated to what extent the use of these aids contributes to their social integration.
