The Museums of the Far East is the collective name for the Japanese Tower, the Chinese Pavilion and the Museum of Japanese Art located on the royal domain in Laken. This complex forms part of the Royal Museums for Art and History.
The aim of the study is to investigate the profiles of the visitors that the museum attracts. Who are the visitors? Where do they come from? Etc. The aim is also to explore which profiles are represented less or not at all, and to gain a sense of what potential the Museums of the Far East may be able to tap into. The survey should help the management to set up a SWOT-analysis.
Method of data collection
Self-administered questionnaire.
A representative sample was taken for the year 2011.
The results were reported in January-February 2012
