Research

Each year, the Federal Science Policy gives funding representing the intervention of Belgium to various education related institutions - public or private, Belgian or foreign. Given the nature and the national or international missions of these institutions, the subsidies or credits continue to be borne by the federal budget.

The Academia Belgica welcomes researchers and artists who want to continue their work in Rome.

Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.)

De B.A.E.F. is the leading independent philanthropy in the support of exchanging university students, scientists and scholars between the United States and Belgium.

Cinematek - Royal Film Archive

The purpose of the Royal Film Archive is to establish and maintain a collection of films of permanent aesthetic, technical and historical interest.

Fulbright Commission, for Educational Exchange between the USA, Belgium and Luxembourg

Designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and people of other countries, it offers grants to American and foreign nationals to study, teach, lecture and conduct research abroad.

Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques (IHES)

The IHES in Bures-sur-Yvette (France) is an advanced research institute in mathematics and theoretical physics with an interest in epistemology and the history of science.

Royal Academy of Overseas Sciences (KAOW-ARSOM)

KAOW-ARSOM promotes research and the dissemination of knowledge concerning overseas countries, both inside these countries and within Belgium.

SHAPE International School

Belgium undertook to pay an annual contribution to the operating expenses of the SHAPE International School located in Mons.

Biermans-Lapôtre Foundation of Paris

The Foundation wants to be the meeting point and showcase of higher education and research of Belgium and Luxembourg in Paris

University Foundation

The Foundation's mission notably includes performing scientific service and sponsorship activities.

Von Karman Institute (VKI)

The institute offers post-university teaching and carries out high-level technological research into flow dynamics in conjunction with its teaching.
